Since I joined the camp late, I have a lot of catching up to do. For now, my goal is to finish the basic setup and get through a good portion of the lectures.

Reflections
Basic Settings
Laptop Rental
I currently use a Mac, but since rendering takes quite a while, I applied for a laptop rental.
- Disappointment: The application process took too long (the manager seems very busy...). I've started the request, but it hasn't been finalized yet.
Slack (https://slack.com/intl/ko-kr/)
I’ve known about Slack for a long time and knew it was widely used in the industry, but this was my first time actually using it. It’s great. The UI/UX is simple and intuitive. Features like DMs, message reactions (interactions), and channel creation remind me a lot of Discord.
Disappointment: While the free version is sufficient for individual use, it’s a bit a shame that message history is only saved for 90 days.
Zep (https://zep.us/home/spaces)
This was my first time hearing about Zep, and it’s fascinating to see the metaverse used this way. It seems to be operating primarily through web browsers currently.
Question: I wonder if companies use this kind of software for remote work
Note: You can use it via a mobile web browser (Chrome) on iPad, but I couldn't hear other people's audio...
Disappointment: It seems the mobile app is no longer supported. Also one teammate had an issue with their mic setup (audio looping back through their speakers into the mic). It was quite distracting, but since no one else said anything, I just let it slide.
Notion (https://www.notion.com)
The academy’s Notion templates were very clean and well-organized. I got a lot of ideas that I can apply to my personal Notion workspace.
AI Literacy Lecture
(Putting this lecture notes on hold for now.)
It was an introductory lecture. Since the content overlapped with the early parts of a course I previously took on Coursera, I was able to follow along comfortably.
Previous Course Notes: Google AI Essentials - Lecture from 'Coursera': https://dev-col.blogspot.com/2026/04/google-ai-essentials-lecture-from.html
AI Utilization Plan: It's tedious to manually reformat TIL posts for Notion, Obsidian, and my blog. I should try to automate this using AI in the future.
Conclusion
- There are many lectures to catch up on, and time is tight.
- Slack and Zep were interesting to explore.
- AI Literacy: Felt like a good review session.
- I intended to keep this brief, but it ended up being quite long. I’ll try to be more concise next time.
- P.S. I left early today due to a prior appointment.
